The modern congkak has been inspired by Madam Maznah but has been created by Wan Najmi and Abdul Fattah while they were in Center for Foundation Studies of International Islamic Universities in 2010.
Fully sponsored by International Islamic University Malaysia, this project succesfully finished on 24 January 2010 officially launched by by Madam Maznah herself on February 2010.
